New development strategy
For a very long time, we stuck to a single development strategy:
"If you’re making something, you flesh it out completely".
Every tiny detail, interaction, graphics, effects, and so on.
Years went by, and now it's time to move on.
From this point on, we will use a new strategy: "Iterative development".
● The first iteration will cover only the essentials, systems, locations, and so on.
● The second iteration will refine this work, replacing placeholders with final assets and making other adjustments. By this stage, the game will be a fully playable prototype.
● The third iteration involves bug fixes, polishing minor details, and the like.
● Finally, the fourth iteration entails a comprehensive review of everything completed, along with minor tweaks and balancing where necessary.
This strategy has proven to be very effective, so development will become more organized and faster
(a bit).
